The Warrior Samurai just got better. The Next Generation Warrior Samurai V2 Winch takes their premium offering and makes it more compact to save space and make it easier to transport, and is now available with a short drum.
The Short Drum Winch is the British Military's preferred choice for their specialist vehicles currently in service - so you can rely on its performance. This winch maintains the same high spec in a compact package and has a 9500 LB or 4500 kg rope capacity to get the job done with ease.
Alongside its strength, this improved Warrior winch features a high quality wound motor with brass contacts leading directly to the motor for efficient operation. Plus, it features a heavy-duty waterproof solenoid, double-sealed drum and a solid steel planetary gearbox that runs quietly to keep the peace. Whether you choose the stainless steel 4-way cable guide or the aluminum cable guide (synthetic rope), the Warrior Samurai V2 winch offers unbeatable performance.
The standout feature, however, is the addition of a revolutionary new external braking system. Unlike traditional winch brakes, the V2 Samurai brake is located at the end of the gearbox rather than in the drum. Even faster with a lower amp draw and a higher capacity to hold and lower the load - the benefits are numerous. It also reduces heat build-up around the drum, making it particularly safe to use with synthetic ropes.
With a speed of 2.2 m/min (320 amps) at full load, you'll get the job done quickly and easily.
