The braking winches from dutton-lainson are available in the versions from 800-2000lb.
These brake winches comply with the German safety standard and are DGUV approved.
Winches with automatically engaging friction brakes hold the load in any position during lifting and lowering. The double pawl spring provides extra safety.
tuffplate™ coating:
The tuffplate™ finishing process is standard on all d-l coated products and RoHS compliant.
Galvanized tuffplate™ finish has 3 times the corrosion resistance of standard galvanizing and 30% higher corrosion resistance compared to powder coating. The tuffplate™ finish starts with an extra-thick zinc coating. Then, a trivalent chromium conversion coating is used for shine and added protection. The final step is a high-quality sealer that provides the final barrier against corrosion.
The results of laboratory testing with 5% neutral salt spray confirm that the tuffplate™ finish provides protection for more than 500 hours against first red rust and more than 100 hours for first white corrosion.
CAUTION:
All d-l brake winches are designed for general purpose pulling and lifting applications. They are not to be used as hoists for lifting, carrying or transporting persons or for loads over areas where persons may be present.
