The VAN COMPASS Hidden Winch Mount provides a strong and discreet solution for installing an electric recovery winch in the front of a Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper or Peugeot Boxer.
The vehicle-specific mounting system is designed for camper vans, expedition vehicles, commercial vehicles and off-road applications where reliable self-recovery capability is required without replacing the complete factory front bumper.
Most of the winch mounting structure remains concealed behind the original bumper cover, allowing the vehicle to retain much of its factory appearance while providing a substantial mounting structure for a compatible recovery winch.
Designed to transfer winching loads into the chassis
Electric vehicle winches can generate very high pulling forces. For this reason, the winch mounting system and its connection to the vehicle chassis are critical components of any recovery installation.
The VAN COMPASS system is engineered to distribute winching forces through multiple chassis mounting locations. According to the manufacturer, the assembly connects to the chassis at up to 15 mounting positions and incorporates additional reinforcement brackets ahead of the vehicle's crumple zone.

Installation space behind the factory front bumper is limited. Therefore, winch dimensions must be carefully checked before installation. Motor length, gearbox dimensions, drum position and electrical connections all influence compatibility.
