All-terrain vehicles do not have an anchor point to which a rope could be attached; the ball hitch can sometimes be rough and could damage the rope. Also, the shape of the ball causes the knot to harden, which means it is difficult to untie.
The pulling plate is designed to be used with a synthetic rope. The straight and smooth drum ensures that the rope can be easily undone without causing damage. For pulling directly behind the vehicle, a slot on the left side is used to insert a chain link. On the right side of the drum, a hook can be used to attach a steel ring or a belt.
The plate has an opening in the form of a keyhole, which makes it possible to attach a
Ball hitch with a diameter of up to 50.8 mm (2") to slide over it. Once attached to the ball neck, the plate can swing and be aligned with the load. This is done close to the vehicle's center of gravity, providing greater safety and reducing the risk of the vehicle becoming upright.
