CAN-Bus control unit for high beam and position light including contactless reader
The CANM8 CANNECT HIGHBEAM-3 is a professional CAN-Bus interface for installing additional LED driving lights, LED light bars and auxiliary headlights with position light. In many modern vehicles, the high beam signal is no longer available as a simple conventional 12 V signal. Instead, important lighting and vehicle signals are transmitted through the CAN-Bus system.
This is exactly where the CANNECT HIGHBEAM-3 comes in. In combination with the contactless CAN-Bus reader, it detects the vehicle’s high beam signal, ignition signal and position light signal and provides separate 12 V outputs. The vehicle wiring does not need to be cut, tapped or damaged, making the installation clean, reversible and vehicle-friendly.
Clean integration of additional driving lights
This CAN-Bus control unit is especially suitable for vehicles where additional driving lights or light bars need to be connected to the vehicle’s high beam function. When the high beam is activated, the module provides a 12 V output signal. This signal can be used via a relay to control additional LED driving lights or light bars.
The module also detects the position light or side marker light signal, making it particularly useful for modern auxiliary lights with a separate position light, signature light or DRL-style design.
