The af winch is designed for lifting applications of both suspended loads and mobile loads on a horizontal or inclined plane (commonly also called ?traction").
Important: All applications are to be considered as lifting applications and therefore fall under the regulation of the European standards for hoisting winches.

Attention: the following things are prohibited:
- The lifting and carrying of persons.
- The stay of persons under the load.
- Lifting loads under inclined traction.
- Allowing the load to swing during the lifting/lowering process.
- To have the load held in position by the winch longer than necessary for the application operation. In such a case, an independent system must be provided to secure the load separately.
- Loosely unwinding the rope and suddenly releasing the load from its position.
